Owning the moment,
Where your tender lips press against my own
Soft hands caress your body
My gaze transfixed upon your beauty
Wishing the night never to end
Can the keeper of time be so kind?
Allowing this feeling to last forever
Disinterested with the rest of what life has to offer
Is it a sin to ask for this,
Prolonged moment?
Will we be forsaken for our acts of impurity?
I hold not to the expectations of others,
But to you and your love alone.
Allow me to entrance you upon this,
Mystical spell we’ve become entangled in.
I ask to own this moment,
This ripple in time,
So as to keep it from being forsaken
Allowing us to go on forever,
Never to be torn apart

this was done in creative writing class today. the task was to write a love poem but the only rule was we could use the word love once. this is what i came up with
